With the truth about the tyrant who plagued our world revealed, and the god Mallos discovered to be not only an innocent but a prisoner in the Earth known by man, the cause we have been fighting for suddenly seems... insignificant. We have deployed two teams on the top-secret mission, Operation Kemet, to scour modern-day Earth in search of a victory for our war.
It's 2011 and Earth has been overrun by humans who, by and large, know nothing of us. Shamans, witches, witch-doctors, magicians, sorcerers, pixies, elves, mages, fairies, faeries, sprites... these are all names humans give to one and the same species - our species - but the majority of them don't believe in our existence. Unless we end this war in our own world soon, it could spread to theirs and our blissful peace, courtesy of their ignorance, will be shattered.
Shaman, the sanctuary for fairykind based in a world far from Earth, has been torn apart by civil war between the gods Gwythr and Aura. Now Aura is leaving Shaman, taking with her the finest of our warriors and diplomats to plead assistance from the Council of Originals - the intergalactic government of gods. In her absence it is our job to find and free Mallos, retrieve a mysterious weapon and hold Gwythr at bay. To help us we have a forgetful puppy, a mythical king from the pages of fictional history and a less-than-average intelligence half-deity prophesised to be the god of chaos and destruction.
