Personality: Staphnof is a cruel and vicious wolf, driven by power. He is cunning, and wily. To his followers he acts genteel, if cold. He remains distant from everyone, and keeps his plots to himself. He believes that other canids, like coyotes, are inferior beasts. Among wolves, he makes no discrimination, omega or alpha, male or female, all are treated the same by him, with a degree of respect, unless proven unworthy of it. He is loyal to the pack, as a whole, but not it's individuals. He believes in creating a strong military base, not only to protect the pack, but to expand it. He is cunning, never rash, or reckless. But Staphnof is not without honor. He feels compassion for fellow warriors, and recognizes that those without strength, can posses other gifts. He is a wolf ruled by searing, cold, logic, and emotion had nothing to do with it.

History: Staphnof was born into the Kumroi pack, and from the start he has been possessed by his ambitions. He was a valuable member of the pack, his parents being high-ranking members. But his ambitions got him into trouble when he tired to take over the pack by force. During the attempt to kill the alpha, Staphen's mother was killed in the fighting. Staphen and his followers, including one of his brothers failed to kill the alpha, and were put down. His followers were pardoned, but Staphen, being recognized as a traitor, was chased out by his own family. Staphen found himself on Futeki territory, where he was taken. He cajoled the leader into letting him join, after proving himself in battle with a veteran warrior. The alpha was impressed, and Staphnof quickly worked his way up in the ranks. He leads hunting parties, patrols, and trains the young pups for battle. But his ambitions, though tempered, still burn fiercely within him. He wants to take over the pack, and then, unite all the packs under his control.
